Born in 1950, Warwick Gilbert is a native of Sydney, Australia and worked in the animation industry as a director, animator and storyboard artist for such companies as Burbank Films, Hanna Barbera and Walt Disney from 1968 to 2006. During this period Warwick had a dual career as a graphic designer, and as bass player in the bands The Hitmen, The Raouls, Nitebeat, and Radio Birdman (inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame in 2007).
