Freyja Kristinsdóttir’s short documentary Postcards had its world premiere at the Reykjavík Film Festival and received two Icelandic Academy EDDA Awards, for Discovery of the Year and Best Short Documentary. Her debut film, Rjómi (English: Underdog, 2018), premiered at Skjaldborg Film Festival, received a Jury’s Special Mention, and was later broadcast on RÚV.
