Maria Wimmer (1911–1996) was a German stage, film, and television actress, trained in the great German-speaking theatrical tradition. A prominent figure of the Austrian and German postwar stage, she was long associated with the Burgtheater in Vienna, where she performed a wide repertoire ranging from classical works to contemporary authors.
