Virginia Hunter

Virginia Hunter grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and studied dancing and ballet from age 8. The family moved to Los Angeles in 1940 and Virginia was under contract to MGM from 1940-1945. She then moved over to Columbia Pictures, working there until the late 1940s. She had started modeling in the late 1940s and was offered a job by the I. Magnin department-store chain in Pasadena.
